THERE'S SNOW PLACE LIKE HOME!

Today it snowed, and it was freaking glorious! I woke up at 7 to my friend texting me about ten times saying " IT'S SNOWING, IT'S FINALLY SNOWING!". This is a huge event, because is hasn't snowed in two years. And the last time it snowed, I didn't have the greatest day.
Last time, my friends just went home and I did nothing, obvs being 12, I thought it would be social suicide to go out sledding with my mum and brother (I was pretty stuck up back then) so I just stayed at home for a looonnngg time. Eventually I found a group of friends from my old school to go sledding with, so it was pretty fun.

But this year, it was kind of great. My friend later (Lucy, who = bae, my beautiful friend who has an awesome blog called "In the Half Light" ) came to my door and we walked to school and had a snowball fight because #YOLO. School was boring and we couldn't have the day off and embarrasing stuff happened, but after, my friends and I went to the common with Pippin for a walk in the snow.

By then most of it had melted, but that was okay. We were all kitted up and took photos and stuff, but it turns out it is pretty hard to get around in that part of the common, and we ended up having to walk through ponds that were knee-deep. And I was wearing jeans! I was soaked through, but apparently the dog was enjoying it! Up to the point when it got a bit darker and she started feeling the cold. Poor creature.

Then we sat down on a little stump with our woolly hats and the hot chocolate I made (wow, I am the best friend ever). When we had to get back we had a bit of an ordeal! We got a bit lost, and we lost Maya (my beautiful friend who also has a blog, go check it out! Mayflower moments) and we were all shouting and screaming and there was a bit of chaos to say the least! I had to do a Bear Grills (hehehe, if you know what I mean, don't tell) and we were all scrambling through the bushes with the dog trailing behind on her lead! After about half an hour of struggling through the brambles, we were finally re-united on the path. You see, that was the route of our problem. We are #hipsters and trend setters so we didn't GO on the path, we freaking MADE the path. Unfortunately the path we made lead us into a forest of bramble bushes, a ditch and an unavoidable pond. We are so intelligent. But when we started heading home, we were laughing. To be honest, our ordeal was a team-building exercise in the extreme!

We came back to my house and cleaned the dog and they went home. Now I am tucked up in bed with my music and my warm, warm pyjamas. It is meant to snow tonight, hopefully we will go sledding! We seriously act like a bunch of four year olds, oh well! I don't feel the need to grow up!
It's been great chatting to you,
see you later.
