Over the Easter holidays I did quite a lot, I went to a sport's camp, I climbed trees, went shopping; but one of my favourite parts was when I went camping in Swanage with my best friend Izzy.

We went on the secound Thursday and it took us 3 hours to get there. It was sooo nice and the weather was fantastic! Izzy and I reminissed because we went to Swanage for a residential trip in our old school. Ahh, good times. When we got to the campsite, we set up. It was actually really nice and for some reason there was an electricity plug on each pitch so (although it defeated the purpose of camping) we were very happy with fully charged phones and an electric kettle. Then we went to this bushcraft thing were we learnt how to make fires and put up hammocks. By the way, Izzy and I were amazing at both, so if you are ever in need of a hammock, call us. Then we cooked marshamallows on the fire and it was really nice and tasty!

After we got food and headed back to the campsite to cook it. Whilst eating our soup, we sat next to our half-collasped tent and talked late into the night. I was exhausted so we got into our surprisingly warm beds and slept.

The next day I woke up and told Izzy about my weird dream about pigeon fights (don't ask) and we realised we were in the movie "inception", it got weird. We had eggy bread for breakfast with maple syrup. Then we met with my mum's friend who is a really good climber. We went to this isolated village and walked until we got to these huge cliffs with caves looking onto the ocean. Then we climbed up them! It was so cool! But that was super fun, and dangerous... but oh well!

After that we walked back (way too far when you have just climbed up cliifs!) but the weather was beautiful. Izzy and I got bored, so we decided that sitting on a rock and freestyle rapping about leaves was a good idea, especially as there was a camera crew filming some yoga thing, I hope when they watch it back they hear us singing "With all that chlorophyll! You could pay all ma billsss"... yeah, it got weird.

Then we went into the town and looked around, we went into a little souvenir/ fudge shop that we went to in year 6, ahh, memories... We bought the BEST fudge! YUM! Then we went to the seaside and got fish and chips. Ahh...

When we got back to the campsite we quickly fell asleep. Through the night was a huge storm and, unfortunately, the tent had collasped on my mother. Izzy and I, however, were totally fine (thanks for the concern) and slept very well. But I had weird dreams again, is that normal? Do tents just make my brain think about pigeons and the hunger games? Well then... We went into the town to get breakfast and we went on the steamtrain. After, we packed everything up and headed home.

I know this took me a while (sorry about being so inactive, I am going on holiday this week, so I might write something on that, I also need to finish editting some pictures for an outfit of the week!) but here you go! I loved going to Swanage with my bestfriend and my family. I hope you enjoyed reading this very overdue holiday blog!

It's been great talking to you,

see you later!
