Ahh, finally a new addition to my face page. Just to let you know, I am not super self consious of my skin because I don't get spots often but I do have a lot of redness and my bags are pretty dark. So most days I pop on some foundation and stuff, just to cover my imperfections, but I am fine just walking around bare-faced. Also, I didn't use concealer in this because I need to buy some more (ahhh!) But usually I use the RIMMEL Wake me up concealer to go with the foundation. It is really good at making me look more awake and there are little reflective particle things in there so it makes you look brighter.

So usually I start with my foundation. Originally, I had the B. NAKED (Ohh-err) foundation which was really nice and sat on my skin well, but as the name suggests, it didn't have much coverage. But now I have a slighty more covering foundation. The RIMMEL wake me up foundation is a recent addition to my make-up collection and I have heard great things about it. It is quite light but it covers all my horrible bags and redness. I pump it onto the back of my hand and then use my (washed) finger to dot it around my face, putting some underneath my eyes, on my cheeks and on my nose which gets very red. I also put some on my chin and a little on my forehead but that comes off usually anyway. after dotting it, I use a large powder brush to blend it. I use a powder brush because it has the finest hairs and blends it well. I have a foundation brush from SUPERDRUG but honestly, it is rubbish. It doesn't spread the foundation well at all, and it left my face feeling wet! But at the same time, I hate using my fingers to blend because I have seen countless cases when girls used their fingers and it was super uneven on their skin. And you get those horrible foundation lines... they make me shudder. So I blend loads making sure to buff away any uneveness.

Then I usually move onto powder so I can set my foundation. Although I like the dewy look, without powder your make-up will just melt off and you will look pretty stupid! So I grab my RIMMEL stay matte powder which also has amazing reviews. I got this in the sale at SUPERDRUG for £2 so I was super lucky! I use the same powder brush or my smaller one because then it will also be more precise and add lots to my forehead and buff in any more foundation. This powder does mattify the skin but quite lightly so you don't look overly powdered... that made sense, right? Also, this usually leaves my eyelashes all powdery so you HAVE to put a small amount of mascara on to cover it, brown is good for the natual look.

When I do my face make up, I don't contour because, frankly, I find it freaking impossible! I always get it wrong and worry that I look like I have just drawn a line of brown on my face. So I skip that and go onto blush. I do think blush is essential because all your foundation has taken away your natural colour and no-one looks completely "skin coloured" without a bit of blush in their cheeks. So I put on the blusher that I made myself using various YouTube videos. I melted a fushcia and pearly light pink lipstick and added beeswax and multiple other ingrediants to make this gorgeous shade of coral. It looks super bright but it is actually super creamy and makes a really cute natural blushed look. Because it is not a powder, you don't look too matt-y. It also reflects light for a sheer finish so it doesn't look like you are wearing make up. To apply, I swish it around in the pot with a small blusher brush and pop it on my cheeks. To find the perfect place to put blush, smile and find the apples of you cheeks!

So that is all I have for you today, I hope this helped you a bit!

It's been great talking to you,

see you later.
