It's been a whole week, gosh I upload too much! But I've got a new outfit of the week for you. This week, I wanted to shake it up, because why not? I stepped out of my neautrals, into monochrome WOOOO! I know, not much of a change but soon you will find out why it was a big step for me as quite a bland person, I'm joking, sort of. But this week, I went for a more sophisticated look which is nice. I mean, it's cool to look like one of those American teens from Tumblr, but why not dress up once in a while?

So there it is, a beautiful outfit that I adore. First, I will talk about the top, because that is a super important part of the outfit to give it that sophisticated but pretty look. I think it was from a charity shop in Paris, my sister gave it too me so I am not sure. But it just makes you think "how come they have such amazing stuff in CHARITY SHOPS?!" It's amazing. In Britain, all I have seen in charity shops are old shoes and smelly cardigans. Actually, sometimes there are some really unique pieces in there, I take it back. Anyway, this top was from Paris. It has a beautiful weird collar/blouse thing with a cute pattern. It's quite hard to describe. But it is chiffon and oh sooo pretty! The buttons are pearly and shiny. The holders are a bit flimsy but that's okay. But with tops like this you need to wear a tank top underneath, because it is a bit see-through! I don't know why, but this top reminds me of japanese school girls, why? But it is very pretty and you can style it in all sorts of different ways. It would be lovely with a pretty skirt in the summer.

Next we have the cardigan which I threw on seeing as it is still winter. I love winter, but I want it to get a little warmer so I can wear short sleeves and not worry about freezing! This is a grey knit cardigan which is quite thin and has super long sleeves. I love this because I can hold onto them when it is cold to keep myself warm! It is from Gilly Hicks, but I bought it in TK MAX for £13. It is great to add layers because it isn't TOO thick like most cardigans are. And I think big cardigans drown me a bit because I am so short! But this fits nicely and is good for snuggling in and watching movies with your girlfriends.

Finally we have the part of the outfit that is the most "out there". These aztec print monochrome trousers are from F&F (I know, that is the same shop where you get your milk, don't judge me). I think they are adorbale and sophisticated. They look like something that women who walks in town would wear, you know the one that struts in her heels with sunglasses and amazing hair and doesn't give away that she is actually late for work. These trousers sit nicely on me and are adjustable as well! They are more comfortable than normal jeans but aren't exactly light-weight. They are elasticated at the waist, giving the illusion of a smaller waist. I tucked the shirt in because I wanted to highlight that to make the outfit more girly. Plus, these trousers work as high-waisters so I adore them even more! When I found these in I loved them A LOT but then the button pinged off which was annoying to say the least. So I went and found my own super pretty button to sow on. Oh, I am so productive! It is very pretty and black with gold around the edge. I think I did a good job if I say so myself.
Additions:
shoes - you could wear boots but I would probably opt for some classic ballet pumps for a girly and simple look to contrast with the trousers. I wore some light pink ones from Primark.
lipstick - I wore SLEEKS "barely there" which I rave about to the extremes in my "Don't get mouthy with me" post so go and check that out!
So I hope you loved this outfit as much as I do, I will definitely wearing it A LOT! I love you!!!
It's been great talking to you,
see you later.
