HEYYY! Here is another outfit of the week for you! I love it quite a lot and think it is a super cute but casual look for the spring! I started with a beautiful top from H&M, it is cream chiffon and has very floaty sleeves with elastic, a tie-up bit at the front and a loely shape. I thought this top as perfect for the Spring because it is very thin but covers the arms. I also love the shape, it is not figure-hugging in the slightest but it is very modest and girly still. The tie-up bit at the front gives a it of detail to it to make the top less plain and means that you can show a bit more skin but still be modest. The fabric is lovely but quite sheer so I usually wear a beige tank top from H&M underneath. By the way, for some reason this top reminds me of Romeo and Juliet, is that strange?

Next we have the trousers which I love and wear constanty. They are black spotted jeggings from TopShop. I love these a lot because they are comfy but still tight around the leg, they add a bit of pattern to any outfit but are not too "out there" that they can't be worn with anything. These are quite high waisted which I like because I tuck the top in so my waist looks smaller. The only downside of these jeggings are that they have no front pockets, which I know is small, but if I am ever in town I always want my phone in a pocket so I can tell if someone calls me, and we all know the horror that occurs if you sit down with your Iphone in your back pocket... crrraaccckkkk. But that is a very small thing and it is just me being picky!

I also paired this outfit with my tan, peeptoe, lace-up ankle boots from NewLook which I love. They are very versitile and although quite autumnal, can be worn throughout the year. I either tuck the jeggings into them or roll them up a bit as the inside is white. I also love these boots as they are very managable but still different at the same time. They can be thrown with any outfit but make you look really put together because peeptoes and boots are quite uncommon. Another thing I adore about these boots is that they are easy to walk in. They have a small block heel which is good for me because I am very short but I don't look out of proportion and there is nothing I hate more than having sore feet after wearing heels to town. They are very comfy and rustic and oh so Tumblr.

I thought I would include a make-up bit to this outfit of the week because i guess it makes a big difference (also because a lot of you asked for it). For this look I had a natural smokey eyes which I did using the GOSH quad (featured in my very first post "palette perfection"). I used the shimmery cream to get a base and highlight the inner corner of my eye quite a lot. I then took the light brown and an angled brush to start to create some shade. I then got the next darker brown and took in in the crease to finish the smokey eye effect. Then I blended it all in. After, I took my liquid eyeliner and did a thick and more filled in cat-flick (which I struggled with). I wanted the eyeliner to be a bit thicker because the eye makeup was very neautral and not really co-ordinated to the outfit. My face make-up was fairly usual, but I didn't really use bush and focused more on contouring because I didn't want to take away from the lip colour and I didn't want the blush to clash with it. I put bronzer under my cheekbone and used a large angled brush to create a smooth gradient. I used the highlighter on top of my cheekbones and on my forehead. I then put on a dark red/pink lipstick on with a lot of precision because you can definately see when dark lip make-up goes wrong, unfortunately. I thought this look was quite daring but still really cute and I wanted to bring attention to the face as the clothes were quite simple.

I also thought I would talk about the hair. I did a messy bun by making a ponytail, rolling up the remaining hair and using bobby pins to secure it in a bun (it takes a while). I then pulled bits out to make it messier and added a cute little burgandy bow from H&M just infront of the bun to go with the lipstick. I think this makes a very cute look and makes the outfit a bit girly which I love.

Overall, I think this outfit would be good to go to town in because it is quite casual. You could swap the jeans with a floarl skirt for the perfect Summer time look as well! I hope you enjoyed! I have gone on a bit of a shopping spree so be excited to see the fruit of my labour (browsing through the aisles) in the next oufit of the week!

It's been great talking to you,

see you later.
